Notable: One of the most recognized golf venues in the U.S., Ridgewood has a well-deserved reputation for being among the finest clubs anywhere; hosted the 1935 Ryder Cup (otherwise known as the ultimate team match). Three outstanding nines provide Ridgewood unusual flexibility. A team that seems to be improving every year, Ridgewood made the finals in 2020 and has the ingredients to make it a habit.

Ridgewood recently hosted the 2022 U.S. Amateur Championship and graciously hosted the 2019 Hoffman Cup Finals. In addition, Ridgewood has hosted the:

  • Ryder Cup in 1935
  • USGA Senior Amateur in 1957
  • USGA Amateur in 1974
  • USGA Senior Open in 1990
  • Senior PGA Championship in 2001
  • Barclay’s Championship in 2008 and 2010
  • MGA Open in 1960, 1970, 1994, 2009
  • MGA Amateur in 1938, 1952, 1982, 1985, 2000
  • NJSGA Open in 1979 and 2003
